At the open market in Praça Nossa Senhora da Paz, Phil tries coconut water, passion fruit, mango carlotinha, pitaya (the frustrating fruit), papaya, tapioca, pastel and sugarcane juice.

What did Phil taste?
The variety of recipes is extensive. Chef João Melo prepares dishes such as apricot brie pie, as well as salads, pastas, risottos, and desserts. Highlight also for the bread produced in the hotel’s boulangerie, always fresh and warm.
To accompany, water, juices, and the traditional sparkling wine from Copa, in brut and rosé versions, as well as drinks such as Mimosa, Aperol Spritz, Bloody Mary, and Kir Royal. It is recommended that you book in advance.

12. Brigadeiro and Cheese Bread

13. Assador Rio's

Last but not least, Phil visits a steakhouse. Here we call: Churrascaria.

What did Phil taste?
Phil participates in the “Rodízio de Carnes” and tries, besides the salad buffet, picanha, chicken, rib fillet, pork rib and, lamb shoulder.
At the end of his tour, Phil points out that: “My time here in Rio showed me a lot. But one thing stands out. As much as I love the landscape, the setting, the feeling of the place, it’s the people. It’s always the people. And it’s not because they are physically beautiful, but because of their spirit, their smiles. Made friends real quickly here. And that’s the secret to life, people. Make friends”.
