On this flavorful walking experience through Copacabana’s backstreet bars, you’ll go beyond the usual tourist spots and explore a side of the neighborhood that many visitors never get to see. Along the way, you’ll visit four carefully selected local bars and restaurants, each with its own history, atmosphere, and specialty.
More than just a food tour, this is a true introduction to the Carioca lifestyle. You’ll taste some of Brazil’s most iconic flavors, which may include cachaça, caipirinha, local beers, coxinha, pastel, feijoada, and codfish fritters, depending on your preferences and the day’s selection.

Traveler Reviews
Our guide, Monique, was excellent. We traveled from the States and her English was impeccable. Very easy to understand and converse. She lives in the area, so knows all the great spots for locals. We loved getting to know those spots too. Local food and drink pairings at each location. We even got to stop at a “bonus location”, because one in our group wanted to try more local beer, so we stopped at a brew pub. Monique was very flexible as to what we were interested in, even though she had an itinerary already planned. I would highly recommend this tour. Check it out on Google Reviews.
