Tropical Fruit Tasting Tour

Visit one of Rio de Janeiro’s farmer’s street markets with a local tour guide. Meet the friendly local vendors and taste delicious tropical fruits while learning about the nutritional importance of each one, their culinary uses and their importance for the national market.

Depending on the season of year, it will be possible to try: açaí, cashew, acerola, guava, mango, jabuticaba, soursop, carambola, jackfruit, passion fruit, pitanga, umbu, seriguela, tamarind, papaya, among others.

The fruit-tasting sessions happen at the farmer’s market fairs in Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, or Jardim Botânico neighborhood, starting at 9am.
