Visit Lage Park and the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer by hiking a trail through the Tijuca rainforest.

The tour starts at Parque Lage, at the foot of Corcovado. The park is famous for its gardens with rich Atlantic Forest and imposing palace in the eclectic Roman style.
After visiting the park, you will begin the walk through the Tijuca Forest to the top of Corcovado Mountain (709 meters above sea level), where the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer is located.
The trail, considered at an intermediate-advanced level, takes an average of 2 hours to climb and passes through some beautiful waterfalls with plenty of fresh water and local wildlife along the way.
After arriving at the top and visiting the monument, you can catch your breath by descending on the historic Corcovado train or the Paineiras’ vehicles (optional).
