So, we have created this post to list the best party options for you to spend New Year’s Eve in Copacabana with safety and comfort.

Generally, there are three main and most popular options, not only for tourists but also for locals, of places to celebrate the New Year in style: Parties at the kiosks on the waterfront avenue, Rooftop parties at beachfront Hotels, or Private Parties on other unique sites of the city.

Kiosks at the Waterfront Avenue

Coisa de Carioca (SOLD OUT)

Atlântica Avenue – Posto 4, Copacabana Beach

Coisa de Carioca Kiosk is located in the best spot on the Copacabana beachfront, between Rua Constante Ramos and Rua Barão de Ipanema, and has a pleasant atmosphere with good food and drinks.

Their space will be surrounded with security bars and have a private security team, restricting access to customers only. The kiosk is next to a public bathroom, but private chemical toilets will also be rented.

For their New Year’s Party 2023-2024 they will be offering a all inclusive service, including a hot and cold buffet and offer of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages the whole night. During the time of the party that starts at 9pm and goes until 3am, there will be a live band and a DJ playing during breaks.

Prices start from:

Table with 4 seats – R$1050 per person
Area Lounge (no assigned seat) – R$950 per person

– Children up to 6 years old accompanied by paying guardians do not pay. Children from 7 to 12 years old accompanied by paying guardians pay half price.

Rayz Beach Point (SOLD OUT)

Rua Martim Afonso, 15 – Leme Beach

Rayz Beach Point Kiosk is located on Leme Beach and has a more relaxed vibe with a wooden deck and sun loungers for customers.

They will offer an all-inclusive service for the 2023-2024 New Year’s Eve Party, including a hot and cold buffet and canape service. Also, offering alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks throughout the night. During party hours that start at 8:30pm and go until 4:30am, a live band and DJ will play during breaks.

Prices start from R$850 per person in the Lounge (no assigned seat)

– Children up to 10 years old accompanied by paying guardians do not pay.

Rooftop Parties at Beachfront Hotels

For a more exclusive experience away from the bustling beach crowds, you can look for rooftop bars at the beachfront hotels, which have impressive panoramic fireworks views and excellent dinner service.

In places like Fasano Hotel, Fairmount Rio de Janeiro Copacabana Hotel, and Hilton Copacabana Hotel, guests can enjoy luxurious settings, elegant drinks, and an unobstructed view of the fireworks.

Avenida Atlântica, 2554 Copacabana – Mercure Rio Boutique Copacabana

The Mercure Rio Boutique Hotel Copacabana hotel offers an all-inclusive party in its ground floor space, inside the Qceviche Restaurant and on the sidewalk in front of the Copacabana sea with 3 different spaces:

In the internal hall, with bistros and sofas distributed throughout the space, the party will be at the boil, which will feature DJ Aura Bler playing the best hits all night, drums from Explosão de Elite da Mangueira, as well as a buffet and bar with the best drinks made by the bartender Thamiris Oliveira.

Furthermore, the space has an internal balcony to sit and relax, enjoying the privileged view with family and friends. Located between the track and the external balcony, the space contains tables for four and two people in an environment with views of both the beach and the interior.

Facing the most famous beach in Rio de Janeiro, there is the external balcony, a space with bars and security as the official box for the biggest fireworks display in the world. Distributed in bistros and banks, an exclusive area with free access to the track throughout the event.

Internal Balcony – Ticket price per person: R$ 1,900.00
External Balcony – Ticket price per person: R$ 2,300.00
