Enjoy an exciting 1.5-hour surf lesson on the best beaches in Rio de Janeiro.

 

Explore Rio’s beautiful coastline as we search for the beach with the best conditions of the day for your surfing level and then discover the amazing sensation of sliding on a wave!

 

Your experienced instructor will teach you the fundamentals of surfing and ocean safety on land, before heading into the water to catch some waves. Relish the gentle waves and waist-deep water for your first surf lesson and get standing on a board in your first lesson!

Important Information

  • Surf instructors with more than 14 years of experience in surfing, a first-aid course updated every 6 months, and excellent communication skills.
  • Requirements: guests should know how to swim. Children must be at least eight years old.
  • Not suitable for people with heart diseases.
  • Book your tour and pay later. Once you book your tour, we will confirm the availability with the partner and send you the booking confirmation with a voucher to be presented on the day of the experience.
  • Meeting Point: Av. Armando Lombardi, 1100 – Barra da Tijuca. (Shell station next to Barra Point. The station is very close to Access A (lagoon) of the Jardim Oceânico subway station.)
