Rio's Nature Ecotur: Lage Park + Botanical Garden + Tijuca Forest

PRIVATE TOUR

Discover the diversity of Brazilian flora and fauna on a tour through the exuberant nature of Rio de Janeiro.

Overview

Rio de Janeiro is known worldwide for its exuberant nature and incredible landscape, uniquely combining forests, mountains, and beaches.

Through its forests and parks, you will have access to a natural diversity and unique experience. So, if you are a nature lover, this tour is for you!

Our tour was specially designed to combine the city’s main natural attractions in a single tour, taking you on a stroll through the most beautiful green areas of Rio de Janeiro.

Start your tour at Parque Lage, located at the foot of Corcovado Mountain. In this beautiful natural space, the vegetation of the Atlantic Forest mixes with one of the most elegant buildings of the 19th century. We will stroll through its English gardens with abundant vegetation while visiting its caves and aquarium. Afterward, visit the centenary Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden. Explore its collection of more than 7,000 species of tropical plants, bromeliads, orchids, and other native Brazilian plants.

Next, visit Tijuca National Park, one of the largest urban forests in the world, and its famous viewpoint, Vista Chinesa. Enjoy a panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro with mountains, forest, and ocean at 388 meters above sea level.

Enjoy the rainforest, learn about its rich biodiversity, and observe its famous inhabitants – squirrels, monkeys, porcupines, butterflies, birds, and different reptiles.
