Learn to dance samba, the national rhythm, in a relaxed and fun class with a local teacher!

Overview

Join us in a Samba Class!

Samba is a typically Brazilian rhythm, whose main characteristic is the batuque, which makes people dance and get even more excited. In addition to drumming, body movements and the presence of percussion are also essential for its composition.

Because of its tradition, Rio de Janeiro has become the main place for samba circles and the carioca carnival has become one of the main events in the country, due to its cultural importance.

In this 1-hour class, you will learn the rhythm through the Samba Fit Brasil method, a physical training modality with dance that provides physical balance, improving conditioning, and body posture. It increases self-confidence, combining sensuality, charm, elegance, and joy.

Classes are divided into three levels: basic, intermediate, and advanced. The choreography difficulty increases according to the level. In the end, you will be able to take photos and videos with carnival costumes present in the studio.

The class is taught by teacher Carla Campos who created the Samba Fit method in 1997. She has 20 years of experience with Samba, having performed in several samba schools in Rio de Janeiro as a drum queen, floor standout, and dancer. She has taught classes in several European countries such as Austria, Finland, France, Italy, Spain, England, and Germany.
