Two Brothers Hike and Vidigal Favela Tour with a local

PRIVATE TOUR

Hike to the top of Morro Dois Irmãos, enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the city and get to know the Vidigal favela with a local tour guide and resident.

Overview
Get to know Favela do Vidigal in a conscious and respectful way from the perspective of a tour guide and local resident.

Start the experience with a motorcycle or van ride to the top of the favela, where you will begin the hike to Morro Dois Irmãos (Two Brothers Hill). Choose from doing it at sunrise or in the morning.

The hike to the peak takes an average of 60 minutes. During the ascent, you will find the first viewpoint where you will see Rocinha, one of the largest favelas in South America. Continue to the top of Morro Dois Irmãos for a stunning view of the most beautiful beaches and Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas and Corcovado.

After the hike, we will visit a local bar with a viewpoint where you can eat and drink whatever you want, enjoying the beautiful view and the hospitality of the Vidigal community. We will then walk down through the favela, where your tour guide will give you a better understanding of how residents live and the social divisions in Rio de Janeiro.

Donation: within the scope of our mission and social responsibility, for each tour sold, we will make a donation to the residents’ association as a way of giving back to the local community.
